Wavey Dale Hileman

Wavey Dale Hileman, 90, retired Lab Tech for Berkline Corporation and former resident of Spears Lane, died Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care. A private family graveside service will be held at Polk Memorial Gardens with Walter Clot officiating. Born April 15, 1930 in Big Hill, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Silas T. Hileman and the late Ethel Mae Grider Hileman. On February 10, 1954, he married Nell Rose Phillips Hileman who preceded him in death May 2, 2011. He was a graduate of American High School. Mr. Hileman and his late wife lived in Russellville, TN and moved to Columbia 12 years ago. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and enjoyed farming and reading. Survivors include his son, Gary Dale (Sherry) Hileman of Columbia; grandchildren, Amanda Fuller of Columbia; Adam Hileman of Nashville; and great grandchildren, Paige Fuller, Blake Fuller, and Andi Fuller. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Virgie McGinnis; brothers, Prentice Hileman, Virgil Hileman, and Calvin Hileman.
