View Video TributeCharles Wayne Foster, 64, a resident of Cheairs Circle, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bro. Howard Kitter officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Gardens Cemetery in Summertown. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born September 12, 1950 in Nashville, he was the son of the late Charles Foster and Martha Gilbreath Foster. Mr. Foster has worked as a hydraulic mechanic for the past thirty-six years at Hertz Equipment Rentals in Nashville. He enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Cathy McDade Foster of Columbia, two sons, David (Robin) Foster of Litchfield Park, Arizona; Kevin (Jennifer) Foster of Culleoka; two brothers, Albert (Linda) Foster of Nashville and Raymond (Carolyn) Foster of Goodlettsville; and three grandchildren, Mikayla Foster, Ryan Foster, and Kensley Foster. Pallbearers will be his nephews and cousins.
