Wendell Riggins

Wendell Riggins, 61, former employee of Columbia Construction, died Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted Friday, December 26, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Jamie Jones officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late William Riggins and Pearl Mencer Riggins. Survivors include his son, Tony Riggins of Columbia; two grandchildren, Jake Riggins and Brittany Riggins, both of Columbia; brothers, Paul Edward "Pee Wee" (Joyce) Riggins and Thomas Riggins, both of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Robert Riggins and sister, Katherine Hartsfield.
