William Eugene "Bill" Kelley

November 9, 1929 — June 8, 2010

Mr. William Eugene "Bill" Kelley, 80, self-employed painter, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at his residence on Mooresville Pike surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Jeff Cates officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Mount Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and after 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late English Kelley and Ophelia Davis Kelley. Survivors include 4 daughters, Teresa (Terry) Bowman of Culleoka, Janice (Johnny) Scroggins of Culleoka, Linda (Donnie) King of Pulaski, and Pam Wells of Pulaski; 4 sons, William "Bill" (Vickie) Kelley of Columbia, William Carroll Kelley of Clifton, Wayne (Shannon) Kelley of Flint, Michigan, and Wade (Priscilla Anderson) Kelley; 2 sisters, Norene Eldridge and Rachel Cummins of Culleoka; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Stewart Kelley; and a daughter, Christy Diane Kelley. Active pallbearers are Terry Bowman,Sr. Ken Brown, Terry Bowman, Jr., Ryan Alred, B. J. Robertson, and Douglas Wade Kelley. Honorary pallbearers include Jack Auville, Billy Clyde Foster, Ray Morrow, and staff of S & K Market.
