William Robert "Bobby" Minor Sr

View Video Tribute Mr. William Robert "Bobby" Minor, Sr., 68, resident of Bailey Street, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at NHC Hillview. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Calvin Lunn officiating. Burial will follow at Hardison Cemetery on Rock Springs Road. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Ollie Edwin Minor, Sr. and Mary Alice Randolph Minor. Mr. Minor was previously employed by General Trucking, Turner & Osborne, The Tennessean and most recently in the maintenance department at NHC Hillview. He enjoyed working puzzles, bird watching and visiting with friends at The Sandwich Shop and Marty's. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Dickens Minor of Columbia whom he married April 9, 1984; daughters, Amanda Dawn (fiancée,Willie McDow) Musgrove of Lawrenceburg, Mary Beth (Steven) Barnett of Columbia; son, William Robert Minor, Jr. of Pulaski; grandchildren, Landan Minor, Brett Barnett, Ryan Barnett, Rickey Musgrove, Clayton Musgrove; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Robinson of Columbia; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandra and Ronnie Davis of Columbia. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ollie Edwin Minor, Jr. and an infant sister. Active pallbearers will be Steven Barnett, Willie McDow, Don Howard, Danny Tucker, Ronnie Davis, Michael Estes and Donald Estes. Honorary pallbearers include the Staff of NHC Hillview and employees and friends at The Sandwich Shop and Marty's. The family wishes to offer a special thank you to nurses, Mary Lunn, Tim Rogers and Salena Kincaid.
