View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast William Armine "Buddy" Reese, Jr., 65, resident of Cayce Lane, died Friday, October 21, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors at graveside provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The Maury County native was the son of the late William Armine Reese, Sr. and Ruth Holcomb Reese and served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam era. Survivors include daughters, Stacy Elaine (William "Bill) Potts of Culleoka and Teri Lee Harden of Columbia; sons, Johnny (Tara Huckaby) Reese and Kevin Michael Reese of Columbia; sisters, Gloria Jean Harwell of Petersburg, Rachel Barlow of Lewisburg, and Leslie Jean Reese Kelley of Hohenwald; brothers, Earl Reese of Columbia, Thomas "Pete" (Peggy) Reese of Williamsport, and Teddy Wayne (Susan) Reese of Santa Fe; step-grandchildren, Garrett Goatz, Trey Goatz, Blake Goatz, Harley Goatz, Chelsea Murphy, Brittany and Cole Blocker, Erik Potts, Desiree Potts, and Cameron Potts. He was preceded in death by grandchildren, Kenneth Harden and April Harden; and sisters, Hazel M. Reese and Ruth Elaine Reese. Active pallbearers are David Bible, Robert Barlow, Jerry Prince, Jr., Bill Potts, Kenny Bond, and Tommy Ravelli. Honorary pallbearers include Jerry Prince, Sr., Jimmy Dodson, Oscar Bradford, Wayne Grissom, Sam Goodman, David McMeen, and Mike Hardin.
