View Funeral WebcastMrs. Willie Pearl Quirk Crigger, 76, former resident of Pitts Drive, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Jeremy Butt officiating. Burial will follow in Scribners Mill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Morgan Quirk and Annie Bell Thomason Quirk Osborne. On September 11, 1948 she married Woodrow W. Crigger who preceded her in death on November 22, 2007. Mrs. Crigger was employed several years in housekeeping at Best Western Goose Creek Inn. She also did private sitting and enjoyed working various puzzle books. She was a member of West Seventh Street Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Evone Wells and Vicky Hethcote, both of Mt. Pleasant; one son, Arthur (Donna) Crigger of Lewisburg; nine grandchildren; two step grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Annie Ruth Quirk, Lorena Waldrum; and two brothers, Newt Quirk and James Quirk. Pallbearers will be Anthony Crigger, Brian Crigger, Sammy Howell, Junior Roberts, Frank Springer and Andy Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be the West Seventh Street Church of Christ Auditorium Sunday Class, Skilled Nursing Unit Nurses at Maury Regional Medical Center, and Hospice Compassus nurses.
