View Video Tribute Wilma Faye Russell Underwood, 78, retired registered nurse at Maury Regional Medical Center and resident of the Culleoka Community, died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at NHC Hillview. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. George McDowell and Pastor Tom Herring officiating. Burial will follow in Lynnwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Willard Wilson Russell and Opal Lee Higgins Russell. She was a member of Lynnville United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Harry D. Underwood of Culleoka, whom she married December 28, 1959; daughters, Kimberly Dawn (Larry) Love of Culleoka, Karen Anita Weber of Nolensville, Karla Kay Underwood of Nashville, and Kristen Faye (Scott) Neu of Nolensville; sisters, Dorothy Marie (Orvil) Musgrove of Columbia, Sandra (Bobby) Stanford of Minor Hill; brothers, Willard Wilson (Audrey) Russell, Jr. of Independence, Ohio, Royce (Vonda) Russell of Columbia, and Donald Wayne (Shirley) Russell of Pulaski; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Emily Grace Weber and sister, Joyce Davis. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include friends and members of Senior Adult Sunday School Class at Lynnville United Methodist Church.
