Zenita Ann Bartlett

Zenita Ann Bartlett, 83, of Columbia, Tennessee, died Tuesday, September 1, 2026. She was born August 9, 1943, in Fayetteville, Tennessee, to the late J.B. Bartlett and Elise Groce Bartlett.

Zenita was a talented beautician and entrepreneur who owned and operated several restaurants and beauty shops throughout her life. She was known for her love of baking and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved shopping and being outdoors fishing and camping. Her family was the center of her life, and she especially enjoyed spoiling her beloved grandpups. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Faith.

She is survived by her sons, Chris (Diana) Rooker of Lynnville, Tennessee, John Russell (Karrie) Pittenger of Fayetteville, Tennessee, and Lawrence Kevin (Rena) Pittenger of Fayetteville, Tennessee; sister, Patricia (Harry) Stevenson of Fayetteville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Kelsey Rooker (Justin McQueen), Kayley Rooker, Brian Pittenger, Jay Pittenger (Sloane), Caroline Pittenger Broussard (Daniel), and Evan Pittenger (Madison); and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John David Bartlett; sister, Mary Frances Bartlett; grandson, Caleb Wayne Rooker; and special adopted son, Mark Wade Sisson

Zenita will be lovingly remembered for her generous spirit, love of family, and the many happy memories she created with those she loved.
